How much did you pay for your ticket tonight? Z-A interrogates the constant struggle that is trying to survive in the dance industry. Funding cuts. Oversights. Lack of appreciation. The arts sector in Australia is slowly suffocating as artists are forced to seek alternative employment due to a lack of opportunity and an overall decline of recognition within a socio-cultural perspective.

Analysing the hierarchical structure within society, Z-A embodies this notion, where the dance discipline is at the bottom of the system. A system that has caused internalised toxicity within the industry - an environment polluted with envy, disrespect and struggle. Never-ending struggle.
